 Surf lessons

first lesson you will be  surprised at how much time you you spent on land, but that time is actually invaluable. That's where you'll learn about the science behind surfing and exactly what to do when you are pushed into a wave—specifically, how to successfully pop up onto the board.

On land, it's easier to practice the pop-up motion and hone in on it. Your instructor will teach you exactly what to do, and with repetition, it will start to feel more natural. Then, your muscle memory can kick in when you're trying to do it in the water. This is also the time to ask about things like tides and wind, and how those can make it a better or worse time to surf—there are certain tides that are favorable for beginners and some that are not. Be sure to ask questions if you're not sure because the goal of every lesson is to empower you to be able to go out on your own.

There's nothing like the first time you catch a wave, whether it's simply lying on your surfboard, or hopping to your feet. The feeling of being propelled by the wave's energy is exhilarating and will leave you wanting a whole lot more... And that is how every surfer you've ever seen surfing beautifully out in the surf started.  Even the professional surfers that make it look effortless started as we all do- with a first wave that probably looked pretty simple, wobbly, and ungraceful, yet in that wave would have started the desire to keep trying because it just felt so good.

NEVER GIVE UP

there is a good chance that you will have an enjoyable time during your surf session. and you might not have been able to stand up on a single wave –of course you will not become mick faning overnight – …..but DON’T GIVE UP.

Surfing is a very challenging activity that requires many hours of practice and commitment. Just remember that the more you do it, the better you will get. And the better you get, the more fun it will become. And always remember, the best surfer is the one having the most fun!

What to expect the day after?

After your first time surfing, you will be sore  in a lot of random places. When you woke up the next morning. so this is normal though. "If you are not in 'surfing' shape, your arms may be sore from paddling and feel like Jelly

Your hips might also be sore. "A lot of people never think of their hips, but if you are not used to paddling on a surfboard in an upright position with your hip bones pressing against the board, they might be sore in the beginning, and The more you surf, the less that will happen.
